Just finished this a few hours ago, good thing the kids are pass asleep. \m/ It's kind'd hard practicing my art styles while taking care of the kids as the same time. T_T
Blood-C is a new anime from CLAMP, and second anime series related to the Blood franchise, the first being Blood+, which aired in 2005–2006. and we don't forget Blood the last Vampire (anime movie in 2000 and live action movie in 2009.)
i think the anime is promising, a few episodes have been release. and is good, but will wait and see if its a kick ass anime XD

Well, I never saw this show, but I liked very much how this piece came out, specially the flowing hair and lace and all the movement in the composition.
The only thing that really bothers me is the katana.
The first thing is its grip ("tsuka") and blade don't seem very aligned (considering the line it would go thru her right hand).
And just for "samurai etiquette educational purposes", the katana/saya is traditionally hold in the left side, to draw it using the right hand (doesn't matter if the person is left-handed).
Also, when its is carried, it is correct to have the blade's edge siding up. But when drawing or preparing to draw the blade (her pose), you should lie down it horizontally, with the edge outwards the body.
Very nice art anyway. Keep it up.
